Follow the steps outlined below to export a folder and all its contents as a password-encrypted zip-file:
Locate the Folder for Export
Within the "Documents" module, navigate to the folder you want to export. Take note that only admin-users or SuperAdmins have access to the export feature.
Open the Actions Menu
Once you have located the desired folder, look for the actions menu located on the right side of the table.
Select the Export Option
From the actions menu, locate and select the "Export" option. This option triggers the export process and prepares a zip-file containing all the files within the chosen folder.
Unzip with password
After initiating the export, ownersRoom will generate a zip-file containing the folder's files. You will receive an email with a download link and password. Click on the download button to retrieve the file.
Copy paste the password and enter when unzipping the file. Please note that the standard zip-tool from Windows does not support the encryption level used in ownersRoom. To ensure successful extraction, it is recommended for Windows users to use a more robust zip-tool (e.g. 7-Zip).
