Importing contacts

We strongly advice you to import the cap table before importing any shareholders to the contact list. When importing the cap table, the shareholders, whether companies or persons, will be imported too. Importing the cap table with contact data, rather than the other way around reduce the workload and the potential of duplicate data in the contact list.

You (as admin/SuperAdmin) can bulk import a list of contacts to an investor portal via the 'import contacts' option under the 'action' button in the top right corner on the Network page.

This works in the same fashion as a cap table import, but without any data about ownership, transactions etc.

Download the excel-file, fill in as explained in the excel-import-template and upload.

Note that the file has a legend explaining what data is mandatory or optional.

Note also that you can define the relation between a company and a person (one company can be linked to several persons, and vice versa).

Please get in touch via chat for more details regarding bulk import of contacts, using Excel.

You can create new contacts one by one using the «create contact»-button in the top right corner on the contacts page. Which is recommended if you just talked to an investor r two and want to invite them on the fly.
