Import contacts

The first step in inviting people to get access to your company's investor portal is to create (or import) their contact data.

Pro tip: Import the cap table with contact details and you'll be ready to invite all your shareholders right away!

From the Network module admins can create a single contact ('New contact' button) , or bulk upload ('Actions' button and 'Import contacts').

Invite

When inviting, you can group contacts to manage access.

If you are getting started with a new investor portal we recommend to start by inviting the shareholders:

Go to network, select all contacts with status 'not invited' (see filter button) and hit 'invite'.

In the next step you decide which access group(s), in this case "shareholders", you want to add the contacts to. You can create, delete and manage your groups from the "Groups" tab under Network.

Add some text to go with the invitation and email and hit the "Send invitation" button to send an email with a link to join your company's investor portal.

Once a person is invited you'll be able to send updates, documents to sign and invite them to your funding round (even before they create a user profile).
