This is about data not being displayed on your user's "home". For cases where you cannot find data that you expect to available inside a company's OwnersRoom, please contact the company.
Missing company under "my companies"
If you've been told that you you've been provided access to a company's owners room, but cannot find it under the "my companies" table when logging in / creating a user, please do the following:
Make sure you are logged in using the email address that you want to use for OwnersRoom (see 'user settings' to check / change email address).
Make sure your email is verified. You should see a yellow banner in the top of the screen with a link to verify email if this has not yet been done.
Look up your inbox with for an invitation email (sent from the email address replyto@ownersroom.com). Make sure to check spam/junk. Click on the link and follow the steps in the email to connect your user with the company's room.
If no such email is found, get in touch with the company to make sure they've used the correct email and ask them to 'resend invitation'.
If they've sent a new invite and you cannot find the invitation email, there seem to be an email issue. Try adding the email address 'replyto@ownersroom.com' as a contact and try again. You should still be able to accept the invitation directly from OwnersRoom if step 1, 2 and 4 are done correctly.
Missing deal data
If you have received a deal email, but cannot see the deal under 'My deals', please do the following:
Make sure you can see the name of the company under "my companies". If not, see the explanation for "missing company under "my companies"" (above).
Check which email address you've received the deal email, on. Check your inbox to see if you've received an invitation email from replyto@ownersroom.com on the same email address. Make sure to check spam/junk. Click on the link and follow the steps in the email (select "I already have a user profile") make sure you log in with the same email address that you want to use for logging in to OwnersRoom in the future.
Check with the company: If the company have deleted the Deal or removed you from the participants-list you will not be able to see the deal-data anymore.
Missing ownership data (portfolio)
If you expect to find your ownership data, but cannot see it in portfolio, please do the following:
Check whether the data is registered in the cap table in the company's owners room. If you cannot find the expected ownership (shares only) in the cap table, it means that the company has not (yet) registered your ownership.
If the data is found in the cap table, but not on your portfolio page, it means that the link between your user profile and the ownership is missing.
If the shares are owned indirectly by a company, the admins in the company's owners room can click on the name of the company owning the shares and "add related person". By adding you as a related person the link should be updated and (after refreshing your browser page) you should be able to see your holdings correctly.
If the shareholder listed in the cap table is your personal name, the explanation is most likely that the company have registered a duplicate. The company's admins should get in touch (chat or email support@ownersroom.com) and we'll help solve the issue.
